Knit along…

I haven’t read either of Debbie Macomber’s novels yet, but I have seen the companion knitting books, and they’re both wonderful. I can see some stash enrichment pending. The knitting books are by Leisure Arts, so should be easy to find for a while. Woohoo! A Good Yarn has a basic sock pattern that is knit with two circular needles (I normally argue with five double pointed needles), a couple sweaters (one with a nice split turtle neck), and some scarves, baby and kid sweaters (one with a dinosaur), and other cool stuff. The Shop on Blossom Street is all baby blankets. I believe my friends are all done having kids, but one never knows about this sort of thing. One can never have too many baby blanket patterns around. Besides, the size makes them perfect for lap blankets for adults. Now, if only I had more hours in a day…
