Have you ever done a color conversion? If so, what did you think about your results and would you do it again? If not, would you like to try someday?

The first color conversion I ever did was to change the color of some pansies I stitched on a fingertip towel for my aunt when she moved into her new condo. I loved the design, but the colors didn’t work for me, and I knew they wouldn’t go with my aunt’s color scheme, so I changed them. We were both pleased with the results. Other than changing one of the bead colors on Mirabilia’s Sleeping Beauty I can’t think of any other color conversions I’ve done. However, I do have a color conversion in my near future. The skin tone on the Santa stocking I’m doing for Dave is, uh, unpleasant to both of us, so I’ll be changing out his skin colors. When I have time during the day to browse through my color chart and floss drawer, that is!
