Stitching quirk July 27, 2005
What is your most unique/interesting stitching quirk? (This could be something concerning the way you stitch, how you organize your stash, etc.)
I was sitting here reading other responses to this question, and I didn’t think I really had any stitching quirks. I mean, I don’t organize Anchor floss by DMC number (I Love that!), I don’t have to vacuum before I stitch (though some days it wouldn’t be a bad idea), or anything like that. But then I realized that I do have a quirk. I keep my floss on cardboard bobbins, and they have to be sorted numerically. Always. I can’t stitch unless I have my floss sorted numerically. As I use and replace each color in the project box, it goes back in its numerical spot. If I somehow mis-file a color I all but panic until I find it. Once the color is found, then I’m okay again. Yup. That’s a quirk.

That can’t be a quirk cause I’m the same way, and my sister is rapidly becoming so as well! Three of us eliminates quirk status! =)

Jenn, I was going to leave you a comment on your blog, but couldn’t for some reason, so I’ll do it here. You found a fabulous blogspot bug that plagued me, too, until they released a fix for it. Here are the instructions: Bug fix
