Progress October 17, 2005
I’ve been knitting merrily away on Kiri. She’s progressing quite nicely. I already have nearly three repeats done. In the photo she rather looks like a green blob, but really, the lace pattern is there. Honest! And yes, I pulled out the lifeline. Don’t think I’ll be putting it back in, either, though that decision is subject to change without notice.
I’ve made some progress on the Santa stocking for Dave, too. Finished up one side of his moustache, as well as more of his beard, and some of his red robe on either side. I need to go get more floss, though. I’ve run out of two of the shades of white in his beard. Oh no! Floss emergency.

Your Kiri will be done long before my Beginner’s Triangle–I have to concentrate on it so much when I work on it that it doesn’t get much attention.
I love the Santa Stocking–I really want to stitch a Christmas piece but I still can’t find the right one
