Kiri update

Still plugging away at it. Wish I could count on my camera battery to live long enough to take a few photos. Last night (or was it this morning?) I finally finished up the first ball of yarn. It was close! I finished up the purl row with somewhere between one and two yards of yarn left. Since it’s lace, I wanted to end the ball at the edge to make it easier to hide the ends. I started getting worried about having enough yarn to get all the way to the end of the row about the time I hit the middle, but I made it. Phew. So, my first 50g ball of yarn lasted for all the set up rows, and two rows short of a full twelve repeats. I’ve started my second ball of yarn, and in a couple minutes I’ll go upstairs and start row one of repeat thirteen. I need to figure out a way to stretch this thing out so I can see how much more I need to knit! I’m hoping that I’ll be ready to start the edging by the end of repeat thirteen or fourteen…
