Camera update November 12, 2005
Went by Fry’s today, and picked up a new battery for our digital camera. Ouch. $50 plus tax later, we put it in the camera, charged it up, and lo and behold! It works. Ta da. Whew. So glad that’s all it was.
This will undoubtedly be my last post for a bit… Heading off to our timeshare in Vegas for a little R&R in the way of sitting on our butts, eating, reading, drinking, watching movies, knitting and cross stitching (well, me, not Dave), and enjoying the jacuzzi for five blissful days… Ahhh. We have the bar packed, some of the books picked out. Dave’s working on the DVDs that we have (the place has a DVD player, large-screen TV, and full surround sound), as well as some music… Not much in the way of clothes to pack up, as we’re not planning on budging from the complex for the whole time we’re there. And yes, Dave’s taken a couple packing photos already, taking full advantage of the new and newly charged battery, which I’ll share when we return.
Oh, yeah. And we’ll be celebrating our second anniversary while we’re there. Can’t believe it’s been two years already… Well, two years, plus the twelve we were together before we got married…

I’m glad it was just the battery; $50 is a little easier to swallow than the cost of a whole new camera!
Have an awesome time in Vegas; your plans sound like the perfect vacation to me–put in some jacuzzi time for me–what a way to relax after all the knitting and stitching you’ll be doing–LOL. There are a couple of good knit shops in Vegas and I think there is a stitching one that was pretty good(we have gone to Vegas every year for the last 5)if you venture out at all.
Finally, Happy Anniversary! We just celebrated our 7th in July, but we had dated off and on for 13 years prior to that.
Relax and enjoy!!

Have a wonderful time in Vegas! I’m looking forward to seeing all that progress that you’ll make while you are away.
