One knit tube. Done. Well, except for weaving in the ends. I hate weaving in ends, so who knows when I’ll get around to that. Since these aren’t meant to be worn outside my house, perhaps I’ll wear them anyway. In fact, I wouldn’t be at all surprised. After many tryings-on while knitting last night, Dave and I finally decided that it finally covers enough of my fingers to feel really good, while leaving mobility for typing. I ended up knitting nearly four inches past the thumb hole. If you zoom in on the photo at the left, you’ll see where I circled the thumb hole.

And here’s what it looks like on my hand. I always thought that I have smallish hands for the size of me… I’m 5′7″ after all, and have stupidly short feet (size 6-1/2w). Aren’t hands and feet normally comparably sized on a person? But Dave informs me that I have long hands, so I kept knitting. And see, the four inches past the thumb hole comes to right about my first joint.
I wasn’t going to include this next picture, as it makes me sort of dizzy to look at it, but Dave’s always going on how I’m dizzy anyway, so perhaps it’s appropriate.
