Any 2006 happy dances yet? January 18, 2006
Have you had a happy dance yet this year? If so, tell us about it! (Or just point to the entry that talks about it.) If not, when do you predict it will be?
Unfortunately, no happy dances for me yet. It’s looking like the first one will be the moebius scarf for Mom. I really want to get it done while it’s still cold enough for her to wear it this year.
On the stitching front, it’ll be a long time before I’m done with Lilac Basket. Once I rotate back to Sterling Silver my current plan is to stitch along until it’s done. There’s not really that much left to do. It hasn’t been screaming at me at all, though, so I don’t know when I’ll be rotating back to it.
One of these days I need to start another cross stitch project, so that I have an actual rotation instead of a two-project swap. I’m still deciding which one to do. Actually, I have a whole host of knitting projects I want to start. I guess that’s what being cold all the time does to a person… Makes them want to knit something warm to wear instead of stitch something decorative that provides no warmth at all.
