Peach blossoms February 27, 2006
Our decorative peach 
has started to bloom. Just a tiny bit. There are just a few pale blossoms on the east side of the tree. They’re kind of hard to see in this horrible photo. Look at that dirt below the tree. Isn’t it disgusting? By this time of year we should have grasses nearly a foot high, but we’ve had so little rain that it’s still dry and brown. I hope the rains we’re supposed to get this week—assuming it actually rains—won’t destroy all the flowers.
