But, Veronica, other people took plenty of pictures of the stitching. I thought someone ought to get at least a couple photos of the stitchers, and that someone might as well be me. ;-)

The sock pattern is Sheri’s Lace that I found over on Sock Bug’s blog.

A girlfriend’s sister-in-law is an avid sewer, and doesn’t have much money right now. I’m hoping to get her over here and have her pick through the fabby a bit. If she wants anything, I hope to be able to elicit a trade. There’s a big piece of navy flannel in there, just right for a man’s shirt, and my dearest Dave just happens to need such a shirt. He’s hard to fit, especially with flannel for some reason. He’s tall and has long limbs, but he’s slim. Flannel shirts are often either so huge that they swallow him or the sleeves are so short that they are very uncomfortable. I’d love to be able to trade her a pile of fabby for a shirt for Dave. We’ll see…

Mom received her moebius the other day, and wore it when she went out on a walk that afternoon. She loves it. It’s long enough that she was able to loop it twice around her neck. Hasn’t had the chance to pull it up over her face yet. I hope it’ll help that way, too. I’m so glad she likes it. She’s even glad that I talked her into the dark gray color. I knew she would be.

Jenna, I think “stuff gnome” is much better. I’m sure Tom would appreciate it more, too. LOL

Nicki, I love those old wooden thread spools, too. Aren’t they wonderful?

Barb, you may not have made out on the stash side when your mother-in-law died, but you got something better, that beautiful quilt!
