Someone on 
the Townsend sock list passed this along today. She thinks it’d make a great group project. Probably would. I’m not currently sure why anyone would want to do it once, much less again, but it sure does tickle my funny bone. Doesn’t everyone need a pink cozy for their tank? My favorite part is the huge pompon hanging from the gun.
If someone does get a project like this going, I think I’ll have to donate a square or two. It’s irresistible.
I did some Google searches for this tank cozy (or cosy depending on where you are), and couldn’t find it. Anyone know anything else about it? I’d love to hear the story.

The Cytadela has been the site of many military battles throughout Polish history and, to represent their power and influence over the Polish nation, the Russians placed tanks on an open plaza there. Now the tanks are dinosaurs, reminders of life during the communist era.’ Found a couple of painted pink tanks too!
