New from Nora Corbett May 23, 2006
We’ve all heard
that Nora Corbett of Mirabilia is branching out. She recently released the two beautiful dragonfly designs. Well, next month she’s releasing two more designs under her own name, Portrait of Lauren in Blue, and Portrait of Caroline in Pink. They’re very pretty. I probably won’t be stitching them, as like most of her designs, they’re just not my style, but I’m sure she’ll sell a lot of them!
Nora’s been busy. She’s also releasing a Mirabilia pattern on June 1, White Christmas. It sounds really pretty. Here’s Nora’s description of it:
On Christmas Eve the Gothic windows were laced with frost. Icicles gleam as the snow flutters in silence. A lady in red cups her hands around a single snowflake and tiny crystal snow drops are scattered across her plush, velvet cape.
I’ve looked around. No one seems to have a picture of it yet. It’ll be out next Thursday, though, so we don’t have much longer to wait.

The White Christmas sounds intriguing. The ladies aren’t really my style either but they are very pretty.

I’m looking forward to seeing White Christmas - it sounds lovely. But I’m afraid I don’t like these ladies at all - just not something I’d stitch
