Knitting… May 31, 2006
I received the latest Knitter’s magazine in the mail yesterday. I’m definately looking forward to reading Perry Klass’s latest essay (I love reading her stuff), but for 
once the cover pattern is one I’m totally in love with. And I’m not just talking about the picture on the cover, but the pictures inside the mag, too. LOL I usually fall right out of love with the cover design when I see the huge shaping, the peplum, the fringe, or whatever odd thing they’re hiding inside. But this shawl, Persimmon Lace, is gorgeous. I’ve pored over the whole pattern for it. There are a couple stitch abbreviations that I’ll have to find, as I couldn’t find them described in the magazine anywhere. I’ll take more time to do that later. This shawl is definitely on my to-be-knit list. And once I finish my Fassett jacket, and the Mountain Peaks shawl that I already have the yarn for, I’ll just have to see if I can’t find some delightfully colored yarn to knit it with.
