Knitting things

Yarn shop link

Ooh, Angela, what gorgeous yarn. Thank you for sharing the link to Spritely Goods. They most definitely have some yummy yarns to choose from.

Reading about knitting

I’ve been reading A Good Yarn by Debbie Macomber. I happened to be finishing up the last few chapters while sitting here at my computer, so was able to go look at one of the links she mentioned as I came across it. Kathy Zimmerman has a nice little site with lots of good knitting info. While there, I signed up for her knitting newsletter. I thoroughly enjoyed A Good Yarn, and the preceding book, A Shop on Blossom Street. Both books were like chic-flicks in print. They made me laugh, they made me cry, and closed with a Spectrum sheep - Julywonderful feel-good air.

Another sheep!

The doorbell rang, so I went to investigate. Aha. Dave’s vitamin order arrived. It’s so nice when they ring the bell, so the package doesn’t sit on the doorstep for hours at a time. While I was out there, I went and got the rest of the mail. Woohoo! July’s purple Sheep Club sheep arrived. OMG. It’s so cute. I’m simply delighted with all these sheep. I have a regular multi-colored flock of them now. What fun!

I am currently reading A Good Yarn (I’ve only got 100 pages to go) & finished Shop on Blossom Street last month. I’ve loved each book, but reading them has definitely made me miss Seattle.

I sure wish A Good Yarn wasn’t a fictious place!

Hi Laura, I’m a book lover too and I was wondering if you’d post pictures of your library or bookshelves sometime. It’s cool seeing other peoples collections. P.S. Have you read Melanie Rawn’s books?
