There is also a case of reference and software books next to my desk here in my office, two large cases full of books in the closet in a guest room, and Dave informs me that he has fourteen bookcases—all full, mind you—of computer-related books down in his office, seven of which are only four feet tall, but the other seven are seven feet tall.
Before you ask, no, I haven’t read them all. A few years ago Dave and I finally cleaned out and sold the condo his mother left him. We brought home fifty boxes of books from that adventure—among other things—and though our tastes are quite similar, she had a lot of books that neither Dave nor I owned. It’s been a lot of fun wandering around the house finding new things to read. It’s occasionally frustrating, however. We’ve both been known to wander the whole house, look at practically every book on every shelf, to proclaim that there’s nothing here to read!
Oh, wait! There’s a whole wall of books that I missed. The picture came out too dark. There are three more barristers full of books in the library.
Nicki, if you came to stay with us, and promised to take good care of our books, you could read anything you want while you’re here.

I bow my head in humbled awe. I am going to show these pictures to my DH to show him that I’m really not that bad after all. If Nicki can move in then surely you’d have room for me too? Please? Thanks for the pictures Laura. I’m going blind trying to make out some of the titles. I’ll have to post pictures of my library now too. Cheers.

What heaven!!! I’ve always wanted a proper library, complete with leather armchair. In reality I have 2 large pine bookshelves and a sofa :o)
