Coffee

I don’t like coffee. Never have. Don’t know if I ever will. Time will tell. Dave likes it, though. Hm. No, I don’t think like is a strong enough word. He’s passionate about coffee. That works better. He’s been considering getting into roasting his own coffee. See? Passionate. Only people passionate about coffee care to take the trouble of roasting their own. During some of his coffee research he came across a site, MoreCoffee. He shared with me page they have about wet-processing raw coffee fruit. I found it interesting, as he knew I would.

One of our neighbors is also passionate about coffee. We collected his mail for a bit while he was out of town. Before he left, he lent Dave his coffee roaster, mill, press, and frother, and he gave Dave some raw beans for a number of different varieties of coffee to play with. The frother didn’t get any use. The other three, on the other hand, did. And, as expected, Dave fell in love with home-roasted coffee. Big surprise there.

I think the closer you get to Seattle the more guilty you’re supposed to feel about not drinking coffee. I’m still 3 hrs away and I do believe I’m the only person in the entire STATE of Oregon that doesn’t drink coffee.

HEAPS o’ guilt is thrown but just bounces off my shoulders. Don’t like it, can’t imagine I ever will.

Wonder if there’s a secret society for this. Hm.
