You see here the only two pairs of embroidery scissors that I own. I think. It’s possible I have an old pair that no longer works floating around the house somewhere, possibly a pair that once belonged to my mother-in-law or to my next door neighbor, but I don’t think so. Anyway, the stork scissors were a Christmas gift from Dave the second year we were together. He gave me a pile of stitching related presents that year. It was awesome. I love these scissors. I’ve always loved stork scissors, plus there’s the whole Dave-thing. A number of years ago I discovered Gingher’s limited edition scissors with the fun prints. Most of the prints are some sort of flower design. Pretty, but I could live without them. Then I saw these leopard spotted scissors. Oh. Had to have ‘em. They crack me up, make me smile almost every time I use them, which is saying something. I found them for ridiculouslyly low price on eBay, and they’ve been mine ever since.
