Eurasian peasant? August 25, 2006

Berroco’s getting too cute, or they’re, well, I don’t know what they are. The email that announced this design says this:
Our crew neck pullover can be transformed into an ethnic costume with a touch of the “Eurasian Peasant.”
If nothing else, I think they’re somewhat confused. A friend of mine has made some study of European dress, and I think I can imagine at least some of what she’d say when faced with this.
The sweater’s not bad, though.
