Knit alongs September 20, 2006
I hadn’t joined a knit along in a while. I’m officially a member of the Mountain Lace KAL, but I’m about the only one posting over there right now, expect for a finish here and there—well, one finish (which is gorgeous, by the way, you should go look), the only other post, actually, since I started my shawl. So that’s rather disappointing.
I thought I’d look 
around and see if there are any new knit alongs that I’m interested in. Low and behold, Lolly’s started a new Socktoberfest for this year. I missed it last year, so had to join, especially when I saw that fabulous sock mug button.
There’s a Fall Cable 2006 knit along that just started up this month, which I might join. It’s been a while since I’ve knit anything with cables, and I do love them. Maybe I’ll knit socks with cables, and have one project for both knit alongs. We’ll see what I find when I start digging around through my patterns and yarn.

If you joined them all, you’d do nothing but knit! Not that that would necessarily be a bad thing, but personally I’d like some time to eat and sleep, as well as do my cross stitch. Oh, and I should probably spend some time working, too…
