Stitching statistics September 26, 2006
I’m way late doing this, but couldn’t while Mom was visiting. So, here goes.
How many pieces have you stitched? Out of these, how many have been for you? How many have had specialty stitches or other techniques besides cross stitch?
Though I’ve been stitching off and on for years, I also knit and crochet, so don’t have as many cross stitch finishes as one might think… I’ve probably finished about twenty or so counted cross stitch projects. Give or take. Maybe as many as twenty-five. Well, maybe thirty, but certainly no more than that. I don’t really know. Though I’ve given away probably most of them, a number of them have been for me, maybe five or six. Not very many have had specialty stitches in them, but that’s not for a lack of interest, or ability, just a lack of choosing designs with specialty stitches in them. I enjoy doing specialty stitches, and have done a lot of them in embroidery and needlepoint projects, enough to make up for the lack of them in my cross stitch projects.
