In progress… October 3, 2006
Pansies emerge
I didn’t
get one stitch into Stepsisters while Mom was visiting. Not one stitch. Not that this is a surprise, mind you, but it’s a little disappointing all the same. If you compare this photo with the last one back in mid September (gads) you’ll see a completed leaf, a mostly completed right-most lavender petal, and a mostly done leaf. So, in spite of not working on this at all for nearly a week, I’ve managed to accomplish something on it.

I did
manage to get a tiny bit of knitting done when Mom was visiting. It seems I’ve hardly made any progress since she went home again, though. Been busy. And recovering from the visit. Still, I did finish up chart three, and am working on the border. I love the border. I’ve done four or five border repeats so far. It’s coming along nicely, if I do say so myself. Here’s another photo that shows more of the border done.

Awww! Your kitty reminds me of one that we had when I was a child. Adorable!
I am lucky in that my mom lives in the same area I do, so visits are not the big production that they used to be when we lived a thousand miles apart.

Stitching and knitting looking very good :) My cats always have that look on their faces–the half asleep why are you bothering me look.
If you get over to the HAED board tomorrow morning you should save the freebie chart they put up(I haven’t seen it, because my computer is being uncooperative, but it’s free and I’m sure it looks good–Fudgey is going to help me out). Anyway I just thought I’d give you a HAED’s up ;)
Have a great night!
