Fiber Dreams

My first Errant Ankles sock progressed nicely over the weekend. I knit on it here and there, now and then, waiting for web pages to load, that sort of thing. I have three repeats of the sixteen-stitch repeat done, and one row of chart 2 done.

I’m totally enjoying this yarn. It’s KnitPicks Essential that I picked up last year. I’ve been meaning to do something with it this whole time, but haven’t been knitting many socks, so… It has a nice feel when knitting it, and good stitch definition.

And the pattern is a delight so far. The instructions are easy to follow, and the charts are clear. The pattern is easy to remember, so I can just knit along while doing something else without having to constantly look at the chart—always a bonus.
