Announcing the Red Sweater Knit Along. After a post or two about red yarn over at Anne’s blog, and one here, Anne and I started talking, and well, a new KAL was born! If you have a hankering to knit a nice red sweater this fall, please join us.

I’m thinking that I need to swatch for that Green Gable shell. I’m hoping that the red merino I have will work for that. If not, I’ll have to find some other shell that the merino will work for. I have a couple ideas…

    Hmmmmmm… I’m dying to make myself a cardigan one of these days, as my arms are longer than anything sold by any store known to man. ;) A big, fat, snuggly one would be great for work, since I think the new office place is going to be freezing this winter!

    Any recommendations for a cardigan pattern that a newbie might attempt?
