Socktoberfest questions October 20, 2006
Lolly, creator of Socktoberfest, has a couple more questions this week.
Where have your hand knit socks been? What is the furthest they have traveled?
I started one pair of socks on our way to Minnesota for a family reunion a number of years back. The sock-knitting process was quite attractive to Dave’s cousin’s daughters. That was fun. Then a year or two before (or after?) that, I worked on a sock when we were on a SCUBA diving trip. I think it’s when we went diving in Belize. That would be the farthest any of my socks has gone. These days we mostly stay home, so the socks—and future socks—don’t get to go anywhere.
