Ornaments December 15, 2006
The latest newsletter
from Berroco has a collection of felt ornaments to hang on the tree or around the house. Rather disappointing as the patterns aren’t for knitted felt, rather felt that you buy in sheets at the store, but there you go. Still, they’re quick fun-looking projects that you could do with kids.
This is in perfect timing with Julia’s release of her Fair Isle patterns for Christmas balls. She designed her balls to be stuffed with styrofoam balls. Very cute. I was going to say that I especially like the one with the deer, but the snowflake is pretty cool, too.
Edited to add:
My apologies. Susan with Berroco left a comment for me. The ornaments are made of knitted felt. I made an assumption when I looked at the pattern, and read no further. Sorry about that!

Pass on the felt ones. The knit ones are wonderful though! I want to make one for next Christmas, but I’ll have to learn fair aisle.

Those Berroco ornaments are knitted felt! They are knit, felt and then cut and decorated.
