Okay.

There are some major similarities here, but the Hidden Violet and Lagoon colorways are indeed different from one another.

For one thing, there’s no gray at all in the Hidden Violet yarn, and for another there’s no periwinkle in the Lagoon yarn.

I don’t know that the feather and fan pattern is showing up very well in this patterned yarn, but I’m enjoying knitting it so much that I don’t think I care. I can always knit another pair later in plainer yarn. Maybe. We’ll see.

Oh! Oh! Did I tell you? I got a pair of freshwater pearl earrings from an Etsy seller yesterday. You know. That’s a really dangerous place. I got these from Jeweled Monkey Designs. She has other earrings that I really like. Like these, and these, and I really like these, these fluorite drops are wonderful, and then there are these pineapple quartz earrings that are darling… I have to say that I’d better get that part-time job I interviewed for today before she sells all my favorites.

Yes, you heard right. It looks like my endless days of “leisure” (ha!) are about to come to a screeching halt. That interview… I could certainly use the money (and not just for earrings and yarn). They want me to come back again to meet other people. Probably on Friday. Wish me luck. And keep your fingers crossed for me that if I do get it, it remains a part-time job. I don’t want to give up all my freedom unless I absolutely have to.

   I had a cat who was hypo thyroid (not usual for cats) he just ate the tablets when I gave them to him but then he was on tablets for over 8 years of his life so was used to taking them… not like this lad

   Congrats on the second interview Laura!! That is a good sign……. What type of work is it, if I may ask? I working only 3 1/2 days a week and every other Saturday, I love the schedule. It is hard to keep it part-time, just have to be firm with boss!!
