Bad user on device

Sometimes I think that if I had two brain cells to run together I’d be dangerous.

Really.

I was on the phone with Sony this morning about my camera, getting more frustrated by the minute, and I had a sudden, horrifying thought. I looked at the top of the camera. Lo and behold, the dial that’s nearly always set to Still was on Play. I moved it back to Still. Everything worked fine.

LOL

See what I mean about the brain cells?

I tested it. Works fine. Doh. LOL

Just so you know, in my research so far, my current favorite to replace my old one with is the Canon A460. Amazon has it for a ridiculously low price—much cheaper than eBay, even if you upgrade it with the 1 gig memory stick. It has 4x zoom, 16x macro (sweet), and tons of other features. It also takes AA batteries, which I find interesting.

I’ll be back later with actual knitting content.

OMG! That’s funny and sad all at the same time. I’m thrilled (as I’m sure you are) that you don’t have to purchase a new camera, but you definitely found a great camera for a great price if you ever need one.

I’m glad you “fixed” your camera!! I’ve had two digitals that took AA batteries. What kind does your take? The dresser is looking pretty good, what color are you going to paint it. It might look good if you just put urethane on it with all the different wood, of course with photos it’s hard to tell how different the woods are. (sounds like something I would do, just to be different)

That’s a pretty low price for that camera! I’m shopping for one too. What do you like about it? I have a Kodak Easyshare now and would like something that takes better closeups.

Mine runs on AA batteries. I love never having to worry about the rechargable battery dying forever. My MP3 player runs on a single AAA.
