Moth holes March 22, 2007
See those moth holes? When you come right down to it, 
they’re the main cause of the deterioration of my poor old bag, therefore the reason I’m knitting a new one. Poor old thing. I still feel terrible about it.
I think the new bag shape will work out much better this time. I’m glad I frogged it. I folded the ribbed edge under for the photo, and tried to line the edge up with the slit in the wood handle. I almost got it. I think it moved when I stood up again. 
By the way, every time I take a picture including Elsie’s old bag, this is what I have to dump out of it. The green tweed sweater that I need to rip out. Still not up to it. There are too many new projects to start.

Ahhh, the bag looks more like what you were after. Can’t wait to see it finished. The violets are so PRETTY, I can’t seem to grow them and I have a nice green thumb. I hear they are tricky.
Miss Rikkis expression reminds me of my Cody. I always think he is giving me dirty looks when he does that. Pogo doesn’t do it, maybe cuz he’s still a kid, and Cody is old and crotchety!!!
