Jeans

I don’t go shopping very often. All the fun went out of it—any that I had in the first place, which wasn’t much—back in 2001 when we were suddenly broke. At Christmas my mom insisted that I go to Coldwater Creek and buy some nice jeans. On her. I did that. I also got a skirt that I love.

I’ve worn the jeans that I got that day a number of times. I keep having to pull them up in the back. It’s irritating. I’ve washed and worn the jeans, and tried them again, and still have to constantly pull them up in the back. Quite frustrating. Results: I hate the jeans. Despise them. Won’t wear them ever again.

I called Coldwater Creek just now, to see if they’d take them back. Ha ha ha, right? Surprise of the century—in spite of the fact that I’ve washed and worn the pants, and no longer have the receipt, I can get my money back. Yes! Really! Can you imagine? I love Coldwater Creek even more now than before. But I think I’ll stick to tops and skirts there from now on.

Edited to add:
I ended up taking back a sweater I knew I’d never wear, and they were great at the store! Got a nice credit for the whole thing, then turned around and bought a fun new floral skirt for half price, and a lace trimmed T-shirt with 3/4 length sleeves in a pretty blue. And I have a reasonable credit left to boot! Gotta love it.

Good for Coldwater, that’s how to keep customers. I totally LOVE their clothes but I can’t really justify the cost for most of what I like and……….. I can’t pull them off. I don’t have any where to wear them. I really like the “T” you got. How’s the knitting tote coming along?

    Wow, that’s outstanding customer service.

I have issues with buying jeans nowadays too - the usual style just don’t seem to fit right or are far too low cut for my taste. But I used to love wearing jeans.
