My hero. My dearest husband is a magician of highest order. When he got home last night I explained my problem with not being able to get the yarn off of the ball winder, he walked over to it, pulled, and off it came. Woohoo!

Some time in the wee hours when I was not sleeping, I fetched the ball of green yarn, and started a new shawl. I’m doing the same one Kristie is, Handsome Triangle, page 32, Victorian Lace Today. I chose it specifically because the instructions say that you can make it as big as you want, and stop when you run out of yarn. This is perfect, since I have no idea how many yards I have. Besides, I love the design!

I enlarged the chart a bit to make it easier on the eyes. I’ve knit through row 26 now, about to start row 27, at row 29 I’ll move my lifeline up. See my little mouse stitch marker? As I progress through the pattern, he’ll be joined by a couple kitties from the set I got from Beadmarkers. They’re marvelously cute, and have no joins to snag on delicate lace.

Oh how fun! I *love* that we’re knitting the same shawl at the same time. Truth be told though, I like your color much better than mine, although, mine is a gifts so what do I care?

Row 27 huh? I’m on row 155, but am taking a break to work on a new pair of socks. Hmm.. maybe I should blog about all of this huh?

I love that shawl too, and I think it will be so beautiful in that color. What a great shade of green!
