Conwy done! April 30, 2007
Woohoo! They’re done. They’re the same length as each other, they’re not too short!, and they fit. Yippee! I can’t wait to wear them.
- Pattern: Conwy, from Knitting on the Road by Nancy Bush
- Yarn: Cherry Tree Hill Supersock in blues and greens, 2.5 ounces
- Needles: size 1, Crystal Palace bamboo double pointed, set of 5
- Finished size: Small! My foot’s only nine inches long…
- Changes: I shortened the cuff. If socks come too high up my leg I just push them down anyway. I also decreased to 64 stitches instead of the called for 60 stitches. My feet are short, but a little on the wide side so this made a perfect width for me.
- Notes: The problems I had knitting these were all my fault, not the pattern’s.
