Three more May 18, 2007
I made the mistake of visiting Blue Moon’s site this morning. I added three more colorways to my STR lightweight wish list: Lunasea, Undertoe, and Tide Pool. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. Basically a lot of the same colors that I always go for, but you know what? They go best with my clothes, so why should I get something different? Kristie came over yesterday. This time she arrived a little earlier, and we went down to the German deli (Mattern’s) that’s not far from here for some yummy sandwiches and German beer. We brought the goods back here and ate in the sun on the deck. We had a lot of fun sharing new stash acquisitions, projects on and off the needles since we last got together, that sort of thing. After lunch we traipsed downstairs so she could see the beast, and so she could show Ravelry to me. Wow. I can’t wait to get an account over there. That’s one nice system. It’s no wonder people are raving about it.
I got a few more rows done on my forget-me-not sock yesterday, as well as a some on the shawl. Hopefully I’ll have pictures for you later today. Right now I’m chomping at the bit to get some breakfast into me, so pictures have to wait.

Undertoe is really appealing but Socktopus is still what I’m craving. Not going back to that site until after summer vacation. Otherwise the money for the vacation will be GONE.

I try not to visit Blue Moon’s site all that often because there are already too many favorites on my list. I also have Lunasea on mine … MMMM!

I like all three of those colorways - I haven’ t knit with anything from Blue Moon yet, but they usually look very pretty to me. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with sticking to colors that speak to you. It’s more fun to knit if the colors make you happy.

*gasp* Yummy! I love them all! I’m glad that you and Kristie had a good time together. It’s really nice to have someone locally that you can hang out with now and again.
