The tooth June 12, 2007
Ravelry is definitely addicting. Most definitely looking forward to Friday when my Internet connection, thanks to Dave’s efforts, should be magically faster again.
Thanks to the slowness of the Internet connection, I’ve gotten quite a bit done on the third second forget-me-not sock. Only three repeats plus three rows left to do before the toe decreases begin.
Two rows to knit on the shawl before casting off. Tonight? We’ll see how I’m doing after being in “the chair.”
I’ve been stitching away in the evenings, and making quite a bit of progress on Winding the Skeins. As of last night, 10,390 stitches have been stitched, which is a mere 8.2 percent of the whole. Yet, it is progress, and I’m very pleased with it.
Bracelets
Remember that tea party I went to at Mikki’s house last month? I saw a number of friends there that I seldom see, including Kathy. Kathy’s been making some wonderful bracelets lately, and we all told her that she should sell them. She was wondering what to do about a web site, and about the time we were leaving I remembered about Etsy, and told her to check them out. Evidently she liked what she saw, because she opened a little store there. Check out Kathy’s bracelets on etsy. She also has this page with other samples of her work.
Tooth update
Got a call from the dentist’s office yesterday afternoon. They can take me today—instead of Friday—to make the mold of my tooth. I’m game. Definitely looking forward to this whole process being done. If you’re inclined, I’d appreciate your good thoughts around 2 p.m. Pacific time today. Thank you!

Only 2 more rows on the shawl? I suppose I should start practicing my crochet or you’ll have your shawl done before I will.
You’re definitely taunting me with the link for Kathy’s bracelets (since I love bracelets more than most jewelry), but I’m broke until the refinance is done, so I’m resisting … for now.
Your stitching is coming along beautifully.
Good luck with your tooth mold today. I hate having that stuff in my mouth for the mold, but it’s all worth it if they craft the perfect tooth.

Thinking good thoughts right now. I have a mouth full of on-lays, so I empathize. Relax tonight.

The tooth, the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth? I’ll be thinking of you, if I don’t leave work early to go home and sleep. ;)
