Fiber Dreams

That’s because it’s not quite done. That’s right. I finished casting off the Handsome Triangle shawl this morning. I’d hoped to get it blocked today, but that just didn’t happen. Tomorrow. I hope. If not, then this weekend.

Finishing the knitting part, though, means that I get to cast on for something new. I decided a quick—I hope—project will be next: Jodie Danenberg’s Saturday Market Bag.

I bought this blue Euroflax linen years ago. It’s been stuck in my stash ever since. See how odd the “ball” is? Well, it’s quite difficult to wind up on my ball winder. Keeps flying off when I crank at any speed at all. And then, when it seems all is fine, the ball sort of dissolves. I’m knitting it up in self defense. Not a clue what will happen when I next open its Rubbermaid container if I don’t. ;-)
