Blocking the green blob

It’s been washed. Green shawl soaking

Lovely blue water, isn’t it? Ick. I really should wash the unused half of the hank, but I re-wound it into a new ball instead. It can wait.

It’s been laid out.

My uncle called after I got the main pins in, so I was on the phone while pinning most of the crochet chain loops. Good diversion.

Now we wait.

Lickety-split

Wow. The new Internet connection is zippy. Forget anything I said about Ravelry being slow. It’s not them. I think I must have been working with nearly dial-up speeds, and now I’m fast. And so are they, and so is Gmail, and so is posting to my blog, and… Weeeee!

Is the shawl dry yet?

I can’t believe how blue the water is. The yarn is so green, not blue.

I hate the waiting time, but the weather is warm enough it shouldn’t take too long to dry.
