Wound! June 28, 2007
I was finally able to get myself over to my LYS this morning, and asked, very nicely, if I could please use their swift to wind up my yarn. Please. Yes! Score. Now I can finally swatch for the Mystery Stole tonight. Finally. Woot! I wonder if I’ll actually be able to keep myself away from the needles and swatching pattern that long. Meanwhile,
much progress has been made on the first Monkey. Heel flap? Check. Turned heel? Check. Picked up gusset stitches? Check. Gusset decreases? Four more to do, then it’s straight on toward the toe. Yippee!
Mooch
I had more fun over at Book Mooch this morning. Entered more inventory to use as bait, so I can hopefully get more of the books on my wish list. I’ve already promised a signed softcover first edition to someone, and have several books heading my way. One book will even (hopefully) be coming all the way from Cyprus. Exciting!

Yay! I just knew that they would let you use their swift. Now, have you sent yours back to be repaired yet?

Oh that’s great! Local shop to the rescue!
How do you like the BookMooch? I think I may sign up for that. Hubby wants a certain book that’s hard to find.
