Maybe it just needed to be deactivated and reactivated in order to work? I dunno. I’m trying the fancy captcha software again. Please, please, please let me know if you have trouble leaving me a comment (email link is in my sidebar, near the top, under the picture of Ricki), and I’ll start the search for new software again. I’d forgotten how well this thing worked at keeping the spam at bay. Since I deactivated it late in the day on August 9, I’ve gotten more than fifty spam messages. Fifty. 5.0. Egads.
That’s why I’m trying it again.

You’re using Wordpress, correct? Have you tried using Akismet?

ETA: Ok, helps if I read the previous post, too :P I’ve never used the captcha module for Akismet and haven’t had any problems… hopefully the “reboot” works for you.
