Checking in October 9, 2007
I have been knitting. Really. Working on the sock for Dave. The second one has been coming along well. I gave your list of names over to Dave (might have been a mistake) and he likes them, but so far hasn’t decided. Says he has a few other things in mind, too, but gave no indication of what those ideas might be.
My test knitters have been keeping me hopping. Lots of versions have been made, and the South Seas Stole pattern keeps getting better and better.
I’m going to be busy all morning—does 12:30 a.m. count as morning if you were asleep, got up, and plan on going back to bed before too long?—and hope to get a real post to you in the afternoon, but don’t hold your breath. It might not work out. But then again, it might. One never knows. Just wanted to give you this little not to let you know that I’m still alive and well. I’ll be back. Hopefully no later than Wednesday.

As one who’s rarely in bed by 12:30, I find the question of a morning definition difficult. Whatever you call it, I hope you got more sleep. That’s the important piece of the scenario.
Can you believe next week will be my six month blogging anniversary? Seems like yesterday and forever. I am, of course, having a little contest.
