Today November 29, 2007
I spent a good chunk of yesterday getting caught up on the paperwork I should have done on Tuesday, blocking the lace scarf I knit over Thanksgiving week (no, I don’t have a picture yet, was going to do that this morning), getting stuff ready for the post office, actually going to the post office, buying groceries, you know. That stuff. This morning I was planning on having a nice, leisurely morning before taking Dave to the optometrist’s office to continue the saga of his eye-wear (it’s a tale, let me tell you), but I over slept, had barely an hour to check email, shower, eat breakfast, get dressed… Oh. I just realized why this headache won’t leave me alone today. I never had my morning tea! Yeah, so anyway, so much for my leisurely morning. Took Dave down to his appointment. He wanted company today, so that he wouldn’t actually climb down someone’s throat. I managed to keep him calmed down. A bit, anyway. That whole thing took so long that by the time we were done—well… we had to drive by the pub on our way home anyway, and, well… We didn’t manage to get home until after 2:00, no lunch in us (but plenty of yummy India Pale Ale).
You can see how this is going, right?
The result? No blog post on Wednesday, basically no blog post on Thursday, just this sorry excuse for one.
I’m hoping I have a little more time for blogging tomorrow, but right now it’s not looking good. You see, we’re having nine of our closest friends over for a seven course dinner (that count includes hors d’ouevres (sp?), intermezzo, and dessert) on Saturday, and we still haven’t finished getting the house put together. The cooks, Ron and Troy, should be here some time between ten and eleven Saturday morning to cook. So, yes, instead of leisurely blogging tomorrow, I should be cleaning.
We’ll see what happens.
Keep your fingers crossed.
By the time I actually have time, I’m going to have tons to tell you. And lots of pictures. Some like this one I took at Charlie and Cherrie’s house on Tuesday morning last week.

Well, not sure if this helps, but, I am having withdrawals again! Fiber Dreams is part of my routine!
Did you know we still have green grass in areas??? Odd!
