Pacific Islands: pattern release December 16, 2007
When I put out my plea for a December-ready test knitting earlier this month, I didn’t really think I’d get anyone. Most people are busy with their holiday knitting projects, and so I didn’t hold out a whole lot of hope. Going with the whole nothing-ventured bit I gave it a go, and asked anyway. I was delighted when Wendy volunteered to be my knitting guinea pig, and she could start within a week.
If you follow Wendy’s blog at all, you’ll know that she’s practically a speed knitter. She’s done with the first half already, and has proclaimed the pattern ready from her perspective. I agreed. The pattern is set, and ready to go: Pacific Islands.
I know, I know. Wendy, you’re probably getting sick of hearing this from me by now, but Thank you! You did a wonderful job helping out with the pattern. I’m tickled pink.

Somehow, while I’ve been off in food-blog land, I missed that it was Wendy who was test knitting for you. Very cool. And it looks like the stole is turning out beautifully, too.
