I’m sick

My head is filled with snot. I can’t breathe, much less think. I have a fever. My eyes keep watering, because of the snot. I seem have that terrible bug that’s been going around. What’s even better, is Dave has it, too. I got it from him. Even Dave’s too sick to work, and that’s saying something. So, nothing interesting going on here. We’re just suffering at home, up in the middle of the night when we should be sleeping, because we can’t.

I can’t even knit.

Waaaa.

I’m so sorry you are sick, you have my sympathies. At least you arent goin through it alone, being sick is so much more fun when you have someone to go through it with, Take care of each other, Hot chicken Soup and Orange Juice will help!

Oh no, you can’t even knit. You ARE sick! Poor thing. I hope that you and Dave both get better soon. There’s nothing worse than having both of you sick at the same time because then there’s no one to take care of you.

Oh honey, I’m sad to see that you’re still so miserable. I didn’t knit much yesterday myself. That’s always a sure sign you’re not feeling yourself.

    Get better soon. Real soon.

I guess that means a time out until you feel better. Maybe you really needed that. Hope you feel better soon.

Hope you both are soon well. I had this last week and “lost” three days, but now, all is peachy keen. This, too, shall pass.

I feel so fortunate I haven’t come down with that as it makes it’s rounds here, too.

At times like this I go through my stash for one of my special hand-painteds too interseting in itself to use in anything complex. Then I cast on a really simple scarf like a garter or stocking stitch I can pick up in occasional moments when I feel a bit less sick or as I recover. I know you get bored with simple easily but you may find this surprisingly comforting. I just pulled out a skein for something like this during the chaos that my life occassionally becomes lately.

And I hope you feel less sick very soon and well too soon to even fifish the simple project.

;_; I’ve only been so badly sick that I couldn’t knit a few times, and at the time, I couldn’t even bring myself to care, because it was all I could do to stagger out of bed to the bathroom and back. It seems like this flu’s really getting around; that time of year, I guess. I hope you feel better soon!

Not even garter stitch? I wish I lived closer, I’d bring you chicken soup…

The exact same thing happened to me at the exact same time. I tried to knit and I just COULDN’T. Awful! I haven’t tried yet today, though I’m back at work. Crossing my fingers for us both.
