Yup. I have one more hank of yarn to tell you about. A very dear friend in the U.K. offered to try to get a hank of Posh Yarn for me. I gave her a list of priorities, based on that week’s offering, and set her loose. This is what she won for me: a single hank of Cecilia cobweb weight yarn in Escapade.

The yarn is cashmere and silk, a 50/50 blend. Oh. It is so soft. And the color! According to the nice folks at Posh, this colorway is a blend of khaki, slate, and sage green. I think that’s a fair description. It changes with the light. It’s subtle. Rich. Luminous. Complex. The gals at Knit Knight last night loved the purple one I received from Jacqui the week before, but were in awe of this colorway.

I actually got a bunch done on the second Algernon over the weekend, as well as a few more rows last night. I’ve completed about 1½ repeats on the cuff. Getting there. As much as I love all these cables, I’m definitely looking forward to this sock being done, done, done.

Getting close to done on the second Friendship shawl. The lifeline marks the start of the border. I hope. We’ll see how big it is when it’s been blocked. I might rip it back to that lifeline and do another repeat. After knitting this whole thing twice in a row, I’m definitely ready for the next project. Whatever that will be.
