Because he said so

Dave says that I should give you a post every day, even if I don’t feel like I have much to say, don’t have much time, have no pictures, blah, blah, blah. So, here goes.

Patterns

I spent the entire morning today migrating two patterns from Word to InDesign. Yup. Took a while. I think it’s worth the trouble, though, in spite of the fact that there’s very little difference between the two versions of these patterns. I think I’ll get better printing results from the InDesign patterns. Plus, I have a little layout thing that I’m doing with the new patterns that I think makes them a bit easier to understand. I hope.

Tea

I ordered more tea just now. I don’t drink coffee. It’s not a religious thing with me, or anything. I just don’t like the way it tastes. But I must have my morning caffeine. Late last year I discovered Adagio Teas. Their teas are nice and fresh, they come in a handy little tin, and I like them. Plus, shipping’s only $3.75 for orders under $50, and free if you order more than that. Hard to argue with it. I had a little problem with my last order, but they fixed it right away, and apologized all over the place. So, more tea for me. I ordered Ceylon Sonata and Lapsang Soochong, plus samples of a Mambo for me, and decaf Earl Grey for Dave. The little sample tins of most of their teas are only $2.00. Score.

Socks!

Check out the site for Sock Summit 2009, happening next August in Portland, Oregon. There isn’t a whole lot of information out there about it yet, but it sounds like fun. I signed myself up on their mailing list.

The end

See? Totally short post today. I’m off to check on the refrigerator repair man, then to knit!

Adagio is lovely. I like Republic of Tea too. My friend Helena in Australia sends me this lovely Australian Daintree that I haven’t been able to find here. It is so good.

I’m glad I hooked you on Adagio! ;) I found some of their tea at my local grocery the other week, it was only earl gray but still. Actually it’s about time I go place an order too. Thanks for the reminder!

Ooh, you’re brave. I wish I could post every day, but somehow it just never happens :) I saw the socks camp, and signed up for the mailings; I’ll have to see if I think I can afford it - wouldn’t it be fun?

It would probably be easier to post each day if Dave were to come up with the topics. :-)
