I actually finished knitting two things on Sunday. The In the Woods, and a new knitting bag. I started felting the bag on Sunday, but the rubber band I was using to hold the pillow case closed kept coming off in the wash and the bag escaped. Lots of dark green fuzz ended up in the washer. Then the water got sort of cold, with all the futzing around, and it didn’t felt all the way. I need to toss it back in there. It started out 23 inches high, and 21 inches wide. It’s currently about 17 inches high, and 27 inches wide. Hrmph. Definitely needs more felting. I don’t know why it fanned out so much at the top. But then, this is only my second felting attempt, so what do I know?

 

Most of yesterday was taken up with getting In the Woods out there, letting people know about it. Not much else got done before I had to excuse myself and head over to our Monday night knitting group. Such trials.
