Syncopation November 14, 2008
Bet you didn’t think I’d actually get this done today, did you. That makes two of us. I think you’ve already seen the pictures I have of this sweater, but if you want to see them in one place, or if by any chance you’d like to get your hands on a copy of this pattern, please visit my pattern shop.
- Pattern: Syncopation, of my own devising.
- Model: Rowanspun DK. Yup, this yarn is discontinued. I have it on good authority (Rowan’s) that their Scottish Tweed DK is a good substitute.
- Needles: Size 7 circulars.
- Elapsed time: September 28 to October 6, 2008.
- Notes: The stitch pattern was easy to memorize, but then I’ve knit it a bunch of times already. Huge thanks to Kathryn for test knitting this, and to my tech editor for catching everything else. Kathryn’s daughter, Rachel, started wearing the sweater before Kathryn had a chance to weave in the ends or block it. I hope you like it, too.

It looks great! I can’t wait to see the cardi knitted up — it’s going to be a gorgeous sweater set :)
