It’s Wednesday already! December 3, 2008
I can’t believe it’s Wednesday afternoon already. Where does the time go? I’ve only time for a quick post today, but I wanted to give you something to read and look at.
Cardigan
I’ve finished knitting the West Coast Swing cardigan, sewing the seams, and weaving in the ends. Now to find a good button, and to block it. And, of course, to write up all those instructions that are currently just hen scratches on paper. Here it is in its unblocked glory.
This and that
I needed
more than my usual cup of tea the other morning, so went for a full pot. When it was gone, I set the pot and mug (one of my all-time favorites) down on my worktable next to the swatch for my next shawl. Aren’t the colors perfect together? I love it!
The other day I got email from a friend that explains where shooting stars come from. Warning: don’t drink or eat anything until after the video has completed.
I’ve been meaning to share this one with you for a while now, but keep forgetting. There’s a nice hotel in Zambia, the Mfuwe Lodge, that has a slight problem with elephants sauntering through the lobby certain times of year. I would so love to stay there when that happens. What fun! Fabulous adventure.
I’m actually making good progress on the brown dress. Must.Go.Knit!

Jan December 3
Sigh, it’s a lovely cardigan, even in its unblocked glory. Loved the origin of the shooting stars! I’ve been to the Ontario Science Centre, and it is truly wondrous. The elephants in the lodge are quite stately and majestic. Thanks for some great escapist pictures.
