I have tons of stuff to do today before I need to leave to have lunch with the Knit Knight crowd. I am so looking forward to this. I haven’t seen anyone other than my dear husband on my birthday in years. Years! Not that hanging out with my guy is bad, in fact it’s wonderful, but it’s going to be so much fun to be with friends. Woot!

My market bag pattern, To Market, is today’s pattern of the day over at The Daily Knitter. Synergy.

Finally made the big decision to list some (all?) of my patterns over at Patternfish. If I get my ducks in a row this morning, I’ll start sending them stuff before heading out for lunch. They love my patterns, so I’m hoping they’ll do well there. Fingers crossed.

No photos today, alas, but I’m making good progress on the lace dress for Stephanie. The flowered skirt is done for the front, and the waistline shaping is nearly there. The dress is going to get a deep V neckline in front, so it should knit up fairly quickly. I’m not sure what to do to finish the neckline yet. An I-cord? A few rows of seed stitch? A little lace edging? The jury’s out. I need to decide soon.

    Hope lunch was as nice as it sounded like it would be.

    I-cord seems like it might be a bit heavy for what I remember of the dress. However I do find in my own projects that my first impulse for the neckline edging is usually the best.
