A Gschnitztal oops

I found two little things with the pattern that could be confusing, so I need to let you all know about them. I’m at Mom’s house right now, 400 miles from home, or I’d just fix them and send out the revised file to anyone who purchased it. That part will have to wait until I get home next week. So, in the meantime, these are the two things:

  • The chart from the heel flap is missing a diagonal line. Eek. On the first line, about midway through, there’s a space that’s two stitches wide. That needs to have a diagonal line in it going from the lower left corner to the upper right corner. It should match the key just below it.
  • Immediately under the chart for the heel flap there’s a line that says, “End by working row 1 one more time.” Delete that line. Don’t knit it, either. When you finish knitting the chart repeats above, you’re ready to begin turning the heel.

There. That’s it. As I said, I’ll make the changes to the .pdf file as soon as I get home, and I’ll send it out to everyone who’s purchased the pattern. Ravelry purchasers will be able to download the new version at Ravelry at that time. I’ll announce the update release here. If I somehow miss you, please let me know.

I hope you all have a safe and fun New Year’s Eve. See you next year.
