As promised, I have pictures of the finished, blocked shawl for you today. If you have an idea for what this one should be called, please be sure to leave me a comment before the end of the day. The person who comes up with the name I end up using will win a free copy of the pattern.

How about “Crest” or “Signet”? It reminds me of the crests on Japanese kimonos. Whatever you name it, it is beautiful!

BEAUTIFUL SHAWL LAURA, AS ALWAYS -makes me think that it looks queenly or royal —so I think I would call it ‘QUINTESSENCE’

-what do you think —–cheers —pat

Hmm, very pretty. The first thing I thought of was something like “chain link squared or diamonds squared or even diamonds are forever”.

Pretty shawl! The border makes me think of quilted nine patch squares.

How about Checkered Past or Gingham Lace

Another pretty shawl! I like the geometry and contrast between border and center.
