A few photos July 13, 2009
Other than this brief introduction, I’m going to do my best to imitate a photo blog today. Click on the images to make them bigger.
Okay. Can’t resist. You get some description, anyway.
Row 1. The bird had flown full tilt into a sliding glass door. Knocked out cold from the impact. I’m happy to report that after recovering consciousness she (he?) sat still for a good quarter hour, fluttered up to the railing, looked about, then flew off. The cat, on the bed inside the adjoining room and not ten feet away, slept through the entire thing.
Row 2. That’s the mystery plant that sprouted in the garbage disposal. It got too big for the tiny pot that Dave originally put it in, so we moved it out front yesterday. Here’s hoping it likes its new home. A lot. It’s looking sort of like a cucumber, but we still don’t know for sure what it is. Time will tell.
Rows 3 and 4. Sevilla is done and blocked. More on it later. The Kami Bison knit and blocked like a dream.

That does look like cucumber. It was in the garbage disposal? How did that happen?
